A feminine US politician has taken a joke made by late present host Jimmy Kimmel very severely after claiming she reported him to the police over his “violent” Will Smith gag.
US rep Marjorie Taylor Greene was unimpressed when her title was introduced up throughout a Jimmy Kimmel Stay! section, the place the comic questioned her political beliefs on-air.
Kimmel informed the viewers on April 5: “This girl, Klan mum, is particularly upset with the three Republican senators who mentioned they’re going to vote sure on Ketanji Brown Jackson, who’s nominated for the Supreme Courtroom.

“The place is Will Smith when you really want him?” he added, to an outburst of laughter from the group.
The republican congresswoman took to Twitter to complain about Kimmel’s joke, claiming she had reported him to Capitol Police over his “risk of violence”.
“This risk of violence in opposition to my by @JimmyKimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice,” Greene captioned a clip of Kimmel’s section.
Kimmel responded to her message on Twitter with one other quip: “Officer? I want to report a joke.”
This additional enraged the politician, who mentioned the joke was a thinly-veiled instance of “misogyny and racism”.
“You were not joking. You cover your misogyny and your racism behind your ‘jokes’ on @ABC,” Greene wrote.

“This was a canine whistle to the violent left to assault me or worse, and your already inspiring fantasies of violence in opposition to me. What number of new loss of life threats will I get which can be your followers?”
Kimmel replied in one other tweet: “The one fantasies you encourage are of silence. Perhaps you need to report this to Animal Management?”
Greene then claimed the comic’s followers have began calling her workplace with threats after the joke aired on tv.
“Your followers known as my workplace at the moment in direct response to you inciting bodily violence in direction of me. It is not a joke. You knew precisely what you have been doing,” she continued.
“@ABC and their mum or dad firm @WaltDisneyCo mustn’t permit your misogyny & threats of violence.”
Kimmel was referencing the incident on the 94th Academy Awards when Oscar-winning actor Will Smith stormed the stage and slapped comic Chris Rock over a joke he made about his spouse’s bald head.
